Unlike an actual stroke, there is nothing spontaneous about David Bouley new Japanese restaurant of the same name. Stroke, which has been set-up that serves meals to guests in TriBeCa and open to the public on April 20, took almost a decade to develop. Even the name has been waiting in the wings since 2007.
